Adhesives

We sell a variety of adhesives, our range includes EVA which is a fast drying glue with maximum strength and is good for gluing the spines of books, laminating, box making and general bookbinding and art work. The Starch Paste (97% wheat paste & 3% PVA) is a slow drying glue and suitable for paper repair, leather and cloth. The EVA and Starch Paste can be mixed together (50/50) to create a medium drying glue which is useful when sticking bookcloth on to board as it gives you time to reposition.

Jin Shofu is a pure wheat starch in powder form perfect for conservation, leather work and gluing cloth.
